(Coming soon on Android, according to the creator’s site.) You take a photo of any home, and it instantly tells you how many bedrooms/bathrooms, and the estimated value.

Obviously the number of bedrooms and bathrooms is off, but the home value is pretty close to the MLS listing price.

This example also came in fairly close to the MLS listing price as well.

Overall, I think HomeSnap is a great tool for helping to determine the value of a house on the fly, especially for homes that aren’t currently on the market. However, before you buy or sell a home, just remember these are only estimated values. A home on the market is only worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

Today at the Bearden Branch, some employees of the Knoxville Zoo came by with some of their animal friends. I didn’t expect it to be so packed, but as you can see, it was a full house.

The kids got to touch a hedgehog, and he also walked around with an owl and a snake. Pretty cool, although as you can see, the RDB baby wasn’t too into that owl.

Definitely check out their calendar of events. They also have great things to do like story time, puppet shows, dance parties, and movies. Plenty to keep your kids occupied on days not spent at the pool!
